Chinese market for PCs, IDC report, in May 2010 the notebook market in China, shipments fell suddenly at some point in April 2010 notebook(notebook battery) shipments to China more than 2.5 million units, while May was less than 200 million units.
While IDC expects the market will be much warmer in June, but in the second quarter growth will be lower than expected by IDC, and before the second quarter of 2010, notebook(Dell Inspiron 1521 Battery) sales in China by about 900 million have certain expectations gap.
Director of personal systems research at IDC China, said Wang Jiping director, however, the overall notebook(Apple iBook G4 14 inch Battery) market in China will still remain in the second quarter, more than 50% year on year growth, shows no real problem is the notebook(Dell GD761) market continues to maintain a good development trend.

China notebook(Toshiba pa3107u 1brs) market in May for the sudden reduction in growth rate, Wang Jiping mainly due to the following factors:
First, the short-term macro-economic slowdown in China, making it difficult to achieve market expectations. Since the Chinese government in May began to real estate, energy and other industries for further regulation, combined with the stock market closed lower, led consumers to buy the confidence of PCs in the occurrence of certain changes. IDC believe that this change will be, as the economy gradually stabilized and then recovered.
Secondly, in April during the stocked large manufacturers, the overflow channel pressure, stocks rose. Second half of 2009 in the notebook(Dell XPS M170 battery) market continues its rapid growth, leading companies and for the May golden week then high expectations. To avoid out of stock in May, the end of April all the different manufacturers have stepped up their livestock, but also resulted in poor channel liquidity, price volatility, the increase in inventories, leading to reduced ability to channel sales.
Thirdly, consumers are offered and look forward to cheaper high-end products. 2010 users on the new processor, operating system, tablet PCs, machinery and other products of concern about the gradual, and the average unit price of these products and still have a gap between the average market price, thus Consumers hold out, wait for the summer promotion.
